The first year - Knowing the basics in energy and environment

During the first year in GEn, students acquire the bases in the fields of all forms of useable energy, process and environmental engineering.

The course content includes :

- Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and hydraulics ;

-  Environmental issues, concepts and techniques, climate and energy systems, environmental quality (air, water, earth), treatment of gaseous, liquid and solid waste and mass transfers ;

- Control, statistics, physical measurements, mathematical and numerical resources, multiphysical modelling and digital world ;

- GEnEPI project team, languages and sports practice.
